I came into printmaking via a long established career as a professional photographer. I bought one of the first available inkjet printers purely to produce reference work, and I was quite astounded at the quality of the results. At that time longevity was a real issue as the inks were still in a state of development. Ink, paper and printer manufacturers have been researching and working towards a satisfactory solution, and are now confident to offer a high quality product with a lifespan in excess of 200 years. I have been producing and selling my own limited editions over the past ten years.
